Java Developer Medior/Senior
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a medior/senior Java backend developer for an international project.
Join the development of an application that is transforming the daily operations of car service centers across Europe!
In our team, you’ll do more than just write code. Together with the client, we design and develop a modern application that makes a real impact — and we also provide long-term support. Every developer is in direct contact with the client, has the freedom to make decisions, and is involved in all key activities.
We’re building a stable and fast web application used daily by service advisors at all dealerships of one of Europe’s leading car manufacturers. The app efficiently supports appointment management, repair planning, and resource allocation — significantly simplifying daily operations and saving users time and effort.
You’ll work with modern technologies in a friendly and professional team that values quality and stability in our solutions.
🧩 What can you expect from us?
- You’ll collaborate with the lead developer on the design and evolution of the system architecture — bringing your own ideas, challenging others, and seeking the best solutions.
- You’ll have room to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Of course, you’ll write high-quality code — in Java with Spring Boot, connected to PostgreSQL. As part of our shift from a REST architecture to CQRS, we fully utilize the benefits of Axon Server and Framework.
- Plus, everything that belongs to high-quality development — tests, CI/CD, deployments, and responsibility for the entire lifecycle.
🎯 What do we expect from you?
💻 Hard skills:
- Experience with the development of complex backend applications in Java and Spring Boot
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and cloud environments (preferably AWS, but others are welcome too)
- Architectural thinking — you’re not afraid to join discussions about design and the future direction of the system
- Proficiency in Czech or Slovak (C1 level) and English at least B2 (for communication with the international client)
🧠 Soft skills:
- Independence — you can set your course and follow through
- Analytical thinking — you understand context and can connect the dots
- Communication skills — you can argue your point, listen, and lead discussions
- Team player — you like sharing knowledge and contributing to a healthy team atmosphere
💎 What do we offer?
- 13th and 14th salary
- 25 vacation days + 3 sick days + 6 training days per year
- Option to work remotely, with team meetups a few times a month at IBC Florenc
- 6 days of training per year + support for professional certifications
- Multisport card with a company contribution
- Contribution to pension or life insurance (2,000 CZK/month)
- Meal allowance
- Language courses
- Discounted mobile tariffs through Vodafone
- Company events and team buildings
- Company membership for Prague Zoo
