Board Game Evening

As autumn arrives, the days grow shorter and the weather turns chilly and rainy — the perfect time to stay warm indoors and bring out the board games.
After the success of last year’s event, we met again this October in our now traditional “gaming hideout. ”Everyone who could brought a treasure from their personal collection, so we ended up with a wonderfully varied selection — from brain-teasing strategy games to timeless classics like Kloboučku hop! and Z pohádky do pohádky.
And you can guess three times which ones were the biggest hits.

Of course, no proper game night is complete without solid “strategic support”: boxes of hot pizza arrived right on time, chilled drinks and bowls of chips stood ready for action. Simply perfect conditions for a lively evening of play.It was a joy to watch everyone dive into their games and forget the outside world.
And those who weren’t currently playing cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines.There was no shortage of passionate debates either — especially during Země/Město game, where discussions broke out over what should and shouldn’t count as a valid point. In moments like these, phones and Google, our impartial referees, came to the rescue.
Time flew by in a blur. Participants gradually headed home, but a few devoted players stayed until the very end, squeezed in several final rounds, tidied up the “battlefield”, and left full of new experiences.
Our board game evening was a great success — and certainly not the last of its kind.
